Week Twenty-One

03.04.17

Monday is definitely a beach day so we all got the shuttle bus across to the Beach Club. Fun in the sea and sand and the kids even spotted Parrot Fish.

We are in for a very exciting day today.  Whale Watching on the Bermudian Zoological Society's boat.  We ended up about 8 miles out to sea and it was a few hours before we got far enough out to spot some whales.  But when we did spot them it was the most amazing sight.

Before we left the shores of the island we spotted lots of Longtails - these beautiful birds come to Bermuda to nest and mate.  They are absolutely stunning and their presence means that Summer is starting.

Time to pick up speed and head out to sea ....

As long a we could see The Island .... I didn't feel sea sick!

Unfortunately my photos didn't do the experience any justice - but there is a whale there in the distance!
